On numerous occasions throughout my career, I’ve managed production and web ops teams. In total, I’ve led the creative vision for over 50 websites, web applications, and mobile apps.

Image Retouching

Before I ever picked up a camera, I taught myself how to edit and retouch images. This skill had allowed me to think of creative concepts that aren’t simple to produce practically.

Data Analytics & Visualization

While I’ve always been extremely comfortable with web analytics, my most recent interest is data visualization. I’m teaching myself R and SQL, but intend on learning Python in the future.

My photography is at its best when it’s conceptual. I always push myself to think of creative concepts that would be worthy of an advertising creative brief.

Honing My Creative & Leadership Skills

I gained my first experiences in the creative industry in college as a photography assistant at a commercial photography studio. The creativity that surrounded me on a daily basis motivated me to pursue a career in advertising. Using relationships I gained while working as a photo assistant, I leap-frogged between several traditional and digital agencies as an intern before earning my first full-time position as an online marketing specialist at DBS Interactive.


Over the course of five years at DBS, I moved into a leadership role overseeing the online marketing department, managing digital marketing campaigns and website/app development for clients in healthcare, hospitality and tourism, insurance, and manufacturing and logistics.

THE LEARNING HOUSE | June 2016 – November 2018

Thriving in Higher Education Marketing

I joined the Learning House team in 2016 and was gifted a very talented team of SEO and content marketing specialists. In my initial role as Inbound Manager, I oversaw and reimagined our content strategy, increasing the production of content to 500+ articles and infographics annually for our university partners.


After a restructuring in 2018, I was asked to lead the newly created web development hive, a cross-functional team of developers, copywriters, SEO’s, UX specialists, and project managers. In this role, I led the creative vision for all new website builds and oversaw all aspects of inbound marketing, including SEO, content marketing and A/B experimentation.

Higher Education SEO Guru

In late 2018, Wiley acquired Learning House and I assisted in the integration of technology, people and processes into the new organizational structure. The most significant of these initiatives being the development of the Wiley Website Framework, a component-based design system that we would later use to produce hundreds of university websites and landing pages.


My role became more specialized through this transition, shifting from Associate Director of Online Marketing to Director of SEO.


I currently lead a team of five SEO’s that oversee organic growth initiatives for 60+ university websites, responsible for generating $37M of annual revenue. As the only specialized team with SEO subject matter expertise at Wiley, I also regularly consult on projects for other Wiley brands including For Dummies, Wiley Edge, and Advancement Courses.

A Hobby Turned Passion

Before SEO was a part of my life, there was just me with a camera. It started with cars and expanded to me photographing other inanimate objects like watches, food, beverages and products. Over the years, I’ve warmed up slightly to photographing things that breathe and will occasionally point my camera at people and pets.


I’ve shot for magazines, auction houses, catalogs, advertising campaigns and websites. I consider myself to be an extremely versatile photographer and am always pushing myself to think outside of the box.


Because of my 9-5, I am only available to book photoshoots after hours, on weekends, or on days I request paid time off. This is limited for some types of work, but I’ve found that it works quite well for product photography that I can shoot in my home studio.
